Hello beautiful people,
I hope you are all having a fabulous day!
Oh the day is finally here, the one I look forward to for approximately 270 days every year. It's the first day of Summer in Australia, WOO HOO!

Ahh, the sun is shining, birds are chirping, it's a beautiful day! OK, so not really - it's pouring rain and the weather forecast is for a maximum of 17°C (62.2°F) here in Canberra, but I'm not letting that spoil my day.
It's beautiful and green (also a little soggy!) outside - a very rare occurance for an Australian summer. It's actually a blessing not to be in drought.

Being sick and being forced to stay home all day, every day for the past few weeks has been a total drag. However, I have a new found appreciation for day time television. There are so many incredible people in this world.
I was watching Dr. Phil and Oprah this morning and there was an amazing woman on there that had been a surrogate mother three times. Each time she requested that the new family pay for the medical bills but other than that she wanted no compensation. All of that suffering for no reward, other than seeing a strangers happiness.

What an amazing lady! It makes me sound incredibly selfish but there is no way that I could do that for another person, especially a stranger. Some people really are remarkable.
Peace out!
Peace out!
